When Three Penny Taproom asked us to make them a beer to be served at their staff party we said YES! After some back and forth we finally settled on a super low gravity. highly hopped pale ale of sorts. A session double IPA as we dubbed it at the brewery. We brewed this beer with over 40% wheat and oats for a full bodied mouthfeel and a soft feeling on your palate. We then aggressively double dry hopped it with a 50/50 blend of Mosaic and Loral hops. We put more hops in this beer than any other hop forward beer we have brewed to date. Expect notes of creamsicles, orange tang, tangelos, and resin.
Malts: Maris Otter, Malted Oats, Flaked Oats, Flaked Wheat, Acidulated Malt
Hops: Mosaic, Loral

Draft pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy light golden body with minimal lacing. Nose of grapefruit, orange. Taste of grapefruit, orange, and citrus pith bitterness on the finish. Very nice feel, with nice carbonation, and overall, an amazing 3.0 % beer! Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
