Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-thick bright yellow woody color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off fairly quick. Superb spotty lace seems to dot my glass in a nice pattern.
The aroma takes in a fulfilled dry sweet citrus rind and grassy-like hop spice. It's bright and slightly brings in a touch of melon and it's rind.
The flavor yields to the bright yet dry sweet side with a cracker-like sweetness to blend. Sly aftertaste of cracker, melon, citrus rind and grassiness.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation and ABV felt good. Moderate finish of melon, grassiness and dried citrus rind.
Overall, wow, what a blonde ale! Who said this style can't be any good? Drink this and I'll be happy to listen to your opinion.
