Ruddy brown with three fingers of tan head. Nice rings of soapy lacing.
Brown malt, breakfast roast coffee, chestnuts, carbon dioxide and maple in the nose.
Very light maple sweetness more than balanced against by some shoe leather, stale earthy hops, stale coffee and general brown malt.
Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Not sure what they were trying to get out of the maple in this. Perfectly drinkable, but the beer isn’t sweet at all, and shouldn’t try to be, IMO.
