750ml bottle poured into a tulip glass.
A: pitch black body with a Small off white head that disappeared quickly.
S: lots of oak and red wine a little bit of vinegar and some light breadiness. Did not open up much as it warmed.
T: same as the nose with maybe a light bit of bakers chocolate on the end. Fairly tart on the tongue.
M: medium bodied decent carbonation tart finish and dry.
O: This beer was brewed with chocolate malt and aged on figs in red wine barrels. For all of that it isn’t a very complex beer it is just ok overall.
