Bright gold in color, great clarity, and a bright white head. Aromas of lemon and wheat bread compliment the flavors of lemon and grass, and a slight bready undertone. Light body, with a slight acidity and a semi-dry, lightly hopped finish.

These guys make good beers overall, but this one here is a little lacking. As others have mentioned, it is moderate in taste and feel. It genuinely feels and tastes like a slightly watered down pilsner. Not bad or offensive, but it does not stand out when compared to others in the German style. I would not mind it all, but when the price point is what it is, you are expecting more depth.

On tap, pours crisp and clear with a low aroma and mild hop presence. There’s an underlying fruitiness that is distracting. It’s an easy drinker, but lacks the oomph or wow factor that I crave in my pilsners.

my first beer from these guys, who seem to be making a bit of a name for themselves, but this beer didnt do a whole lot for me, on draft it seemed a little tired, a little too full and filling, a touch sweet, not as crisp as the best of these, and a little less remarkable in terms of overall quality than i had been anticipating. it was neither very clear nor particularly heady or well carbonated, golden to brassy colored. nose of european pils malt and bready lager yeast, not wildly dynamic or anything, some nice minerality to it, a grassy hop profile but seemingly quite mild, and nothing really making it pop for me. pretty bready in the taste too, the yeast and grain sort of come together at the same point, they almost have a similar flavor, so this lacks depth, but it also carries some mid palate sweetness that is a little out of place in the style, there isnt enough hoppy bitterness on the back end to balance it back out either. a tad disjointed but not quite sloppy either, more carbonation would help, and maybe the establishment i had this at is partly responsible for the experience. i will reserve harsher judgement until i can try it from the can or maybe at the brewery, for now its just a little too easy to lose this one in the style, which is increasingly crowded...

Good, but not great. Reminds me of the smell of a clean flesh wound, but it has a refreshing taste. Just hold your nose!

This one is deceiving. It’s like this one time Raul met this chick at this clizzzub and shawty was fly right off the bat. Looked hella sexi n smelled all kids of good too. But then when we got back to da crib, something was awry - shawty didn’t exactly have the bushes trimmed, ya feel me?
And that’s just like dis Ghost beverage. Raul look at it and he be like - yep! Raul sniff it and he be like - yep! But then Raul takes a sip, and... Well, not the worst, but it ends on this herbal/vegetal note that Raul is feeling just like... you guessed it.
Peace!

16 oz can from Tavour. Pale golden with a thick white head. Aroma is hay, grains, bread. Taste echoes this, big, full and rich, with the right amount of bitter bite. One of the best US pils I've tried.

Bright, clear, light gold color; lively carbonation but leaves only a thin, white head. Nice cracker and bread crust aroma. Fine light malt flavor; somewhat bread; well-balanced hop bitterness with a slight herbal quality. Medium body; crisp and fairly dry with a mild warmth.
A well-made, easy drinking pilsner.
