Serving: 1 pint 16 fl oz can (stamped “8/14/23 petrol”) poured into a 14 oz Rastal Teku glass.”
Appearance: Pale golden yellow with a frothy head of white foam and patchy lace.
Smell: Loads of citrus rind, savory garden herbs and dankness suggesting gas station petrol.
Taste: Clean and lean body with more citrus, passion fruit, slight malt sweetness and almost sulphuric vegetal notes.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with fine and lively carbonation.
Overall: Clean and light West Coast pale ale highlighting distinct NZ hoppiness.

A delightful pale ale from Laughing Monk! Pours out golden in the glass with a thin layer of suds that dissipate quickly. Hint of citrus on the nose. Dank, grapefuity, hoppy and slightly sweet. A keeper.
