12 ounce bottle, 09.07.16 stamped on the label so I'm assuming that's the bottled on date. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours dark brown with about an inch and a half tan head. Head retention is good, and there's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, earthiness, and bittersweet chocolate. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some coffee and caramel noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. It's easy enough to drink. I think it's a good robust porter, I certainly liked it. $9.99 a 6-pack.

Slightly watery, very little smell.
