500 ml bottle, purchased at the brewery/taproom about a month ago. No dating on the bottle or label that I could find but I believe this is a 2018 release. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a murky reddish/brown color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like red grapes/wine, caramel and bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some tart dark fruitiness and oak flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good brew, certainly worth trying if you've never had it before! $13 a bottle.
