Brewery Techne "Brasserie Saison"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
Notes via stream of consciousness: Seeing as how this is labeled "Brasserie Saison" I'll assume it's a French saison. It's poured a hazy golden orange body beneath a finger's width of white foam. The aroma offers orchard fruits including apple, pear, and orange over a grainy malt base. The flavor follows with a light sweetness, some acidity, plenty of yeasty fruitiness, a balancing and drying extra firm bitterness, and some grassiness, earthiness, and mineral character from the middle into the finish. That's really nice! It's sweetish and fruit upfront but then bitter, dry, and mineralish in the lingering finish.
