behind the mosaic, this was the next best one of these single hopped beers. i have not seen very much el dorado in a single hop context, and it appears here to be somewhat more versatile than the citra, there is great balance across the board between fruity citrus and bitterness, and this doesnt seem to need other varietals at any point to fill in for shortcomings in either its aroma or flavor profile. still east coasty looking, hazy and pale, wheat is likely, definitely unfiltered, good ring lace to it. the aroma is juicy, bright lime here, and a little orange, maybe even watermelon rind in there too, bitterness with flavor. they seem a little less intense than the mosaic though, maybe not quite as fresh, just feels like there are less of them in here, and that the beer would benefit from ramping it up a little bit, not that its boring in any way, just nowhere near as forward and pungent as the mosaic edition, which i had right next to this. overall though nice ipa, and without the mosaic overshadowing it, i would be talking it up even more probably. these guys have a good thing going with this series, hopefully they keep it rolling!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
