On tap at Cugino’s. Pours a hazy golden color with a fair head and some lacing. Aroma of pine, grapefruit and bit of grain. Taste of grapefruit, some light fruit and malt sweetness. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, crisp, clean with a bit of a grainy texture. Not too bad.

easily my favorite of the three of these i had, but they were all good. this is just such a rad expression of mosaic hops, done in the east coast style, real pale and hazy and pretty tame on the bitterness, more about that juicy tropical elements in this hop. pineapple all over the place, the nose is really forward, obviously mosaic, hints of lime and tangerine too, its really bright and summery. seems to be some wheat in the base, its a little fuller bodied but not quite thick, high carbonation keeps it moving, but it seems like more than pale two row barley malt to me. the hops seems to like it, this isnt sweet but its not dry either, the hops linger long, fruity all the way, some oils present here, they must have used a ton of them in this brew! pineapple more than anything else, almost as pungent in flavor as it is in the smell, heavy dry hop i have to imagine. i liked the citra and el dorado editions as well, but this one was the king. cool brewery too, in the basement of an old school italian restaurant and beer bar, an already unlikely combination. very cool!
