Canned 5/20/24.

L: Pours a hazy yellow gold with a fluffy white head that thins quickly. Slight irregular lacing.

S: Aromas of orange and tangerine. Some lemon-lime.

T: Orange up front, then prickly lemon-lime. Finishes dry and slightly bitter.

F: Medium mouthfeel and carbonation.

O: Nice transition from smooth to prickly citrus.

Thanks to Heisenbrew for this 16 oz. can, my first attempt at choking down a beer from this brewery. I’ve heard they make IPAs. No canning date. Boo.

The pour is as turgid as expected & yes, I know that’s not the right word: opaque yellow juice. The nose is lemon, orange, & bitterness, though to tease out even that I was approaching 3,500 CFM intake.

All the Citrus is a slugging IPA. It goes down easy & I’m reluctant to divorce the glass from my questing lips. The taste is strong, rich tropical fruit & sugar-sweetened lemonade, cut by a moderate shot of bitterness. Orange rind sticks out on the finish & gives it a rough-and-tumble mouthfeel. Ridiculously easy to drink.

So many new hot breweries competing with Tropicana fall short in the IPA category. While this is my inaugural experience with Narrow Gauge, color me radically impressed. Excellent beer & one of the best new IPAs I’ve had this year.

Light gold to light brown in color with a pronounced murkiness. There's a fingernail of dishwater wither around the rim. The aroma is of lime and citrus with some grassy hops mixed in. The mouth is very smooth and there's a cooling sensation to the tongue that is quite refreshing.

Fresh, 4 day old can.

Pour is a beautiful hazy yellow; reminiscent of pineapple juice. The smell is orange juice and citrus peel. The taste is overwhelmingly orange juice which lingers on the palette; tricking your mind into thinking it just had a glass of OJ. It is thirst quenching and, as the kids like to say, crushable. It is another home run by Narrow Gauge. Although, this brew seems more fitting for the name OJ Run than the actual version.
