I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as a 7oz sampler. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white ring head that is leaving some lace. The scent had wonderful tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with ripe tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer!

2-week-old can poured into a tulip.
Hazy orange-gold fluid with a warm glow. Light, short-lasting head of eggshell, creamy bubbles. Moderate lacing.
Juicy tangerine and sweet grapefruit with generic tropical and stone fruit lurking behind. Quite grassy and doughy, with mild dankness. After the initial citrus burst, the nose falls off dramatically. Just not a lot there, and certainly nothing that stands out in an uber-crowded field.
Taste follows, with bright semi-sweet citrus and a lot of grassy greens, crackery malt, and a pithy grapefruit finish. Perfectly drinkable, but extremely basic and unnoteworthy.
Feel is pretty substantial with perfect carbonation and soft, creamy feel. Pithy, coating aftertaste. By far the best part of the beer.
I haven’t been particularly impressed by the few Narrow Gauge beers I’ve now had, especially given the reputation. Bases are covered but they just aren’t very interesting.

Two servings, both canned 1/25/21. They smelled and tasted almost identical, but the first can was flat.
L: Pours a hazy orange. Head on first can disappeared quickly. Second can showed a fluffy white big bubbled head and nice irregular lacing.
S: Citrus and grapefruit. A little pineapple and tangerine.
T: Follows the aroma, finishes with a pronounced dryness and some hop bite.
F: Medium mouthfeel. Excellent carbonation in the second can, unlike the earlier can from the same batch.
O: Enjoyed this beer, which combines citrus and tropical haziness with a west coasty bitter finish. Second can much better carbonated than first, which improved the overall rating.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 11/21/18, had 11/25/18.
Looks like grapefruit juice, hazy, with a one inch foamy head with not much lacing or cling. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, pine, a light dankness. The flavor shows more pine than the nose, then tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, light mango, hint of vanilla. It’s a little herbal. Decent amount of hop bitterness up front through the middle, the dankness doesn’t really show in the taste. Smooth, a good light body, a little creamy, well carbonated.
An excellent hazy, with bright and expressive aromas and flavors. A great example of the style. First beer from these guys, look forward to more. Well worth a purchase.

Hot damn this one was really good. It's probably sacrilegious to compare a New England IPA (especially one made outside of NE) to the lofty Tree House brews but this one certainly came close - lots of elements reminded me of some of my top Tree House beers. 11/18/19 date printed on bottle. Pours a great-looking hazy yellow color with some fluffy white head and nice small sheets of lingering lacing that stayed for a long time. Smells of sweet ripe grapefruit, melon, tangerine, pineapple, mango and papaya. Also malt, caramel, vanilla and bread. Weaker floral hops at the end. Taste follows the nose, extremely juicy and well-balanced, couldn't taste the ABV at all. Vanilla was quite creamy. Excellent! Smooth, soft, mild mouthfeel, perfect amount of carbonation, really pillowy. I thoroughly enjoyed this beer - my first one from this brewery, but certainly not my last.
