Pours a murky orange with a finger and a half of off-white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is tangerine, papaya, peanut butter, and earthy, biscuity, doughy malts. Tropical fruits are up front and then are cut by dry malts. Flavor profile is tangerine, papaya and orange which are undercut by a very dry, earthy, biscuity, bready malt profile. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a lightly grainy texture that carries a touch of fizziness to wash away any lingering particulate. Overall, a very intriguing beer. Hop notes are apparent, but don't strike a good balance between the malts and texture.
