Very nice mouthfeel. Sweet but still retains the sour. Definitely can taste the black currant and vanilla which is a plus. With a subtle but smooth finish.

Reddish purple in color with a fingernail of pink around the rim and covering two thirds of the top. The aroma is of black currants, chamomile, and lactose. I taste black currants, vanilla, lactose, and chamomile. The mouth is very dry and moderately carbonated.

poured from a 16oz can into stemmed glassware. pours a deep dark purple with pink head that doesn’t stick around too long. has dark fruit wine-like smell to it as well as some sweetness and hoppiness. taste is similar but it
doesn’t come together quite like the nose. tart on finish with a little bit of dryness. feel is smooth, lower level of carbonation but finishes a little thin. not my favorite of the NG sour IPAs but still a pretty tasty brew.
