L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a purplish color and a thick, viscous consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, off white head that quickly dissipated. Not much lacing to speak of.
S: A sweet and fruity aroma of different berries, tropical fruit, malt, vanilla, lactose, and hops.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish; kind of fleeting), a tinge of vanilla, lots of berries (the advertised boysenberries), a little lactose (not a big factor), light hops, and some tropical fruit (passion fruit). This is a tart, sour, and sweet flavor. Not your typical IPA taste, but it works.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp, lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An interesting and well made beer. Drinkable.

16oz can, snifter glass. Pours a deep purple reddish body, pulpy and opaque, one finger white head, fair retention, not much in way of lacing. Smell is big boysenberry, lactose and vanilla, a fair bit of grapefruit with a mild-moderate lemon acidity. There's no indication of the usual lactic acidity of kettle soured beers, and it's not quite as massively hopped as some sour IPAs do- it makes the tart passionfruit and boysenberry fruit shine really nicely here. Creamy lactose and vanilla adds balance on the finish, with a light hoppy resin tinge. Really nice, well executed and incredibly drinkable for a beer crossing at least 3 typical genres: hops, sour and pastry.
