poured from a 16oz can into a stemmed glass. pours a very pretty looking ruby red. little bit darker than grapefruit juice with foam that dissipates and leaves a nice ring around the outter edges of the glass. smell is fairly neutral. smells a little hoppy, a little juicy, a little musty. taste is dry with notes of herbal tea, dry grapefruit juice (i’ve never had a prickly pear..), and a little bit of hops. feel is nice and full. low carb & not spritzy which i would have pegged this one for. overall, it’s a very enjoyable beer. nice mix of flavors with none dominating the other.
