Pours a light straw gold good head that laces well.

Can’t hardly smell anything very feint biscuity malt and some light notes of nuttiness

Grassy and earthy taste. Very mild overall. Subtle notes of malt. But very smooth.

Mouthfeel is medium bodies and solid.

Easy to drink not complex at all and not really what I’d expect from a helles. Easy to drink on a hot day. Flavors start to really come thru as you drink it.

Pours a foggy yellow with three fingers of off-white foam atop. Great head retention. Aroma is crackers, wafers, and nutty malts. Later, heavy bread meets caramel. Grassy and mild herbal hops round out the nose. Flavor profile is crackers, nuts, wafers, and bread for the malt front. Mild honey mingles with caramel, and grass & faint herbal hops to add some depth to the malts. As a whole, dry malts with some lingering zest. Mouth feel is crispy with a medium thickness. Texture gets a little fuzzy at the end. Overall, refreshing with some good malt and hop play.

Draft. Reviewed from notes.

Had on tap. Clear golden body with two fingers of white foam and trace amounts of lacing. Smells of grassy and earthy hops with honeyed malts, fresh baked bread and pale grain. Taste is more pale: grassy hops, very mild pale grain, big dry cracker, and simpler lager malt. Feel has good lager malt and hops, but the yeast is not pulling its weight enough to be elevated on the palate

From a sixteen ounce aluminum bottle, this beer is a clear golden color with a frothy white head. Nice lace. The aroma is spot-on. Grain and malt, bread, fresh herbal hop background. The taste is lightly sweet, with a beautiful malt and hop balanced flavor. This is a wonderful helles. Flavorful, drinkable, and very rewarding.

On draft at PapPo's. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lace. It smelled of floral notes, bready malt and some caramel. Sweet caramel and biscuity taste with a subtle citrusy bite.

16oz can pours a deep golden yellow color with a moderate-sized cap of dense, white-colored head that fades to a thick ring around the edge and leaves lacing. Smells of bready malts and floral, spicy hops. Solid bready malt backbone with the light honeyed sweetness you expect from a good Helles. The beer closes out in a small bitterness with floral and spicy noble hop flavors and a malty-sweet aftertaste. Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation mouthfeel for a smooth drinking experience.

This is a pretty good Helles, better than I would have expected from a random american brewery.

Shiny copper penny colored with exceptional clarity. A fingernail of off white is around the rim. The aroma is of pale bready malt with a suggestion of grassy hops. I’m tasting a light beady malt like a Club cracker with a gentle grassy hop note at the back of the palate. The mouth is very easygoing, crisp, and smooth.
