Aroma is bananas/bubblegum, wheat and complex spices. The flavor is fruit, wheat/grains, bananas/mild bubblegum and a slightly spicy/mostly smooth finish.

glad narrow gauge is just around town now for grabs and not hidden 20 minutes away, who wants to drive?
didnt feel like pouring but the cans pretty cute, like the old cartoon art. nose has a good hit of wheat bread, a nice banana and clove mixture that hefes tend to have, a little bit of faint sweetness and just the little bit of yeast-y funk in the mix. flavor leads off with that 'well spiced banana bread' note, which comes in with a really nice earthy spice note before leaving with some sweetness and more breadiness. super light and drinkable, but still has enough umph behind it to let you know its not to be slammed too mindlessly. maybe not the highs of the great hefeweizens out there but its solid

Canned 8/10/23; drank 9/23/23 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big, noisy eggshell head; a thick curtain frothy tree-rung lace.
Banana, mild clove & faint orange peel notes in the nose.
Soft, creamy medium mouthfeel.
Banana & mild orange peel flavors up front; mild clove notes on the finish.
Yep, it's a Hefe, and while it's true to style it won't win any converts. Good enough.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a very small, short-lived head of white foam. It left no lacing. It smelled of banana, clove, spices, yeast and cracked wheat. Sweet wheat and banana taste with clove and spices.

Gold in color with vibrant carbonation bubbles. Moderate haziness. There’s a fingernail of off white around half of the rim and covering a third of the top. The aroma is banana and pale wheat. I’m tasting banana and wheat. The mouth is light and refreshing.
