poured from a 16oz can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a clear, light copper with three fingers of thick white head. aromas is straight pine. taste is similar with a slight citrus flavor to compliment the hoppy pine flavors. it’s not insanely bitter hoppy but it’s true enough to the west coast style. mouthfeel is the highlight of this beer. thick, creamy and smooth. makes this drink a lot easier than it should. overall, very enjoyable and refreshing in the sense that it’s not a milky, hazy IPA. it gives up looks and aroma for taste and feel. it’s not as crushable as the NE-style but sometimes it’s nice to be reminded that you’re drinking an IPA.
