In December of 2019 we filled two cinnamon whiskey barrels that previously held bourbon, two vanilla barrels that previously held cinnamon whiskey and bourbon, and two maple syrup barrels that previously held vanilla, cinnamon whiskey, and bourbon with our Peanut Butter & Stout base. These barrels aged for 13 months before bottling.
The orange waxed bottles are from the maple syrup bourbon barrels that previously held vanilla, cinnamon whiskey and bourbon.

Poured from a bottle (2021 release I think?) into a mini tulip-esque tasting glass
L: pours a very dark black brown with a minimal tan head that fades to a ring around the edge. Minimal lacing with each sip, nice abv legs slight brown tint
S: rich, velvety aroma right off the bat. Creamy peanut butter, thick chocolate batter, vanilla frosting. Avoids being overly sweet, far from cloying which is very impressive. A rich liquid dessert, cannot wait
T: follows the nose extremely well. A ton of rich chocolate and peanut butter, waves of vanilla with some dark chocolate bitterness to accent it. Like having a molten lava cake with peanut butter - gooey cake batter, bakers chocolate, dark chocolate fudge brownie, rich peanut butter, vanilla frosting. Definitely dessert but avoids being a sugar bomb. Medium finish, not much abv heat
F: medium-carbonation, medium/medium+ body, very smooth, would like it a bit thicker but it’s by no means thin, abv warming
O: a very rich yet somehow balanced dessert stout. Delivers exactly what you’d expect without that 2oz is good for me feeling
