Billed as an IPL with Citra and Amarillo.
Served at cellar temp poured from the can into clear cup. Color is watered down brown, looks just like ginger ale. Attractive fluffy white head.
Smell when you pop the can is fresh and tropical, but after a few minutes the rich nose weakens to a dank floral. Flavor is nice, tastes like a light lager with some tropical fruit and a coffee aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light lager, deceptive ABV, no hint it’s above 5.5%. Goes down easy. Breakfast beer or lawnmower beer. Better cold and better drank quickly, dies in the glass if you try to savor it. Overall worth trying but I wouldn’t bring home more than a single.
