Pours with a medium straw color, with little to no head. Its filtered but with a touch of haze. The smell has malty notes and sweetness, which is strange considering this beer is on the drier side. Overall the flavor is nice and clean although a touch watery, which makes sense since its 4.2% ABV. The primary flavor, in my opinion, appears during the finish where hop notes dominate in a quick sudden manner and dissipate just as fast. Good pairing would include fried fish and chips or spicy Thai noodles where a clean dry finish is needed. I would rate this beer above the pack in its respective category; 3.25-3.5.

This drinks really easy, and though I'm not a fan of some of the styles done at MadeWest, each I've tried has been very solid in the category. These folks know how to make good beers!!

I’ll tell you one thing: these MadeWest guys have a good thing going on like Gretzky open in the slot. I mean, I wouldn’t call them the “Gretzky’s” of brewing, but they fly beautifully under the radar like a butterfly feeling good after a drink of nectar. Madewest, man, these guys just do it and they do it well. No hoopla. No boom boom in the zoom zoom. And no frills. To Raul, they deliver like a piñata when you swing for the fences.

You don’t always have to be graceful, but it’s always nice to ask, “Please” my children.
