17 ounce bottle into a tulip. Bottled March 2016. Label says don't age this, but there it was sitting on a beer store shelf yesterday, so I'm drinking it about six months after bottling. I have no idea what the six months did to it.
The appearance is meh ... pale cloudy yellow, not much head nor lacing, even with a strong pour. The aroma is lemony. The flavor is lightly tart, and a little bit of saison type yeast.
Overall, this beer is good. It's not terribly complex, but maybe it's not supposed to be. Hey, it seems like a basic low alcohol (4.4%) farmhouse ale. It's not quite a sour. It's kind of a kid-brother, sour wannabe. Nothing wrong with that.

Brewed with oranges. Extremely light body, bright and tangy. Just a little sharp. An inviting funky background in the aroma of citrus. Lemony and zingy.
This is a very drinkable Wild Ale that's not really sour. It's kind of like lemonade gone bad. Still, these Mollusk beers are always interesting. Label says "bottled in March 2016." From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

My first beer from this new brewery. Bottled March 2016, tasted 21 May 2016.
Pours a lightly hazy golden orange. Not much head, okay retention, no lacing; not great, but typical for a sour.
Smell is sour lemons, with a bit of vague citrus sweetness. I don't particularly get oranges, which the bottle says were added, but I suppose I can feel their presence.
Taste is good. Clean, lemony tart. A little sweet twang layered on top of that. Tasty, though not as complex as I'd like it to be.
Feel is excellent. Light and crisp, with buoyant carbonation.
A good sour. I like it, and would definitely drink it again. I have a hard time saying exactly what could be improved; there's just some depth missing.
