I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: rich black hue with a half a finger of creamy tan foam. Not bad at all.
Smell: mildly roasty and a little bit sweet; it's well-composed but the volume is too low.
Taste: roasty and caramelly; it is on the sweeter end of the spectrum. It's got a nice depth to it.
Mouthfeel: rich body with a very well-integrated carbonation and great creaminess. I dig it.
Overall: the aroma could use a little kick, but otherwise this is a damn fine stout (of the slightly sweeter variety).
