This is brewed with raspberries, wheat, and barley, and "100% fermented with a blend of Brettanomyces." Poured from the 500 ml bottled in January 2017. Purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham for very reasonable price.
This is shockingly pink as I poured, not having read the fine print. But a half-filled Timmermans goblet is actually more of a blood color. The raspberry aroma is brain-filling and I don't think I've ever had such a pure berry flavored brew. The carbonation explodes softly on the tongue. Light and bright mouthfeel with some serious acidity.
The Brett is somewhat overtopped by the fruit but it emerges as a sharpish yeasty aftertaste. But there is probably more bitterness from the seeds and stems of the raspberries than the yeast. A little astringent but not really sour, just wild and fruity. This should be required drinking by the trolls down at Cascade Vinegar Works.
