They describe this as a "farmhouse porter finished with a domestically sourced Brettanomyces strain." Color is a dark reddish brown without much of any foam or lacing. There is a bit of spritz on the tongue, but it's pretty low carbonation. Smell is an eye opener. It doesn't smell like Brett, it smells like spoiled fruit and oxidation.
Flavor is bad home brew. Sourish, but not quite spoiled. It tastes like really old plums but still has a touch of malty sweetness. This may be a Wild Ale with an impeccable pedigree, but it's undrinkable.
