It’s brewed with oyster brine and coriander. Quite attractive golden brew with fine-grained foam in the New Belgium snifter. Aroma can best be described as "what the..."? Sort of like wet cardboard but more interesting. It starts out with a touch of malty sweetness followed by the acidic fruity sensation and celery aftertaste.
I wouldn't say this actually tastes like oysters, but there's something from the ocean, though I would have guessed seaweed. While it's tart, it doesn't veer into the vinegar territory, so it's actually pretty drinkable. But totally strange nonetheless. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Garden Path Fermentation.
