Big head with some staying power. A little early lace before settling down to a full film. Very slightly hazed golden brew. Smells doughy, a little sharp. Uncommonly sharp to taste for a blonde. Rather flat after that first bit of a bite. Gently hoppy to finish. Unremarkable.

Appearance: Produced half a pinky of head that somehow manages to produce a couple slight slivers of lace before dying a quick death. The body is a crystal clear blonde with low carbonation.
Smell: I think I'm catching a hint of citrus hops but it's so weak it'd be better to mark it as absent. Warming does not appear to have helped it's case either.
Taste: There is an odd earth and acid funk to the beer that permeates it. It initially seems to do well to accent the mild bread malt but it makes it's presences known. I can best describe at as watered down citrus punch with extra acid added to it. Then some muddy hops show up, like a hook trying to pull the kicking and screaming citrus sensation off the stage.
Mouthfeel: That acidic note just doesn't do me any favors and the beer tastes all over the place, so the transitioning isn't that good. The carbonation seems to only fuel the acid and hop struggle that comes around the end and the weak head further disappoints.
Drinkability: Well it does have a refreshing quality to it, and it does come across as very light bodied, but that acidic note and rough transitioning doesn't help it's case here. Additionally when a beer's carbonation disappears too often it shows up in your gut, and this one is no exception as it is a bit gassy.
Final Thoughts: "The Flop" is aptly named, and not because of the poker hand on the bottle. This is a lawnmower drinker to be had instead of macro lager in the sweltering heat, but there are plenty of other beers that fill that niche better then this one. Swing and a miss here, as I can't really recommend it.
