Why do I seem to drink this style on only one day a year?
Next round was smooth enough for crackers and Irish cheddar... and when that ran out, Irish butter on the crackers.
Probably should save some Next Round for the Brussels sprouts (little cabbages) and make St. Patrick's Day complete.
Next Round follows well enough the classic dry Irish stout, although a bit more coffee/chocolate than the classics... perhaps making it a bit more bittersweet than the classic.
I like Hopewell. It has been six years since I've been to their taproom. So their variety I've had over time. But Hopewell is producing well enough in all three traditions and that is not easy.
