Duolandia is a Country Lager brewed in collaboration with Wild East Brewing out of Brooklyn, NY. This rustic lager utilizes small-batch ingredients from each brewery’s local ecosystem – in this case, New York-grown hops, and malt from Sugar Creek Malt Co. out of Lebanon, IN. The result is a complexly layered lager with an expressive bready malt character and an herbaceous, floral hop finish.

Pours a slightly cloudy medium pale gold. There is a modest head with some lacing. Decent aroma with a slightly funky hop presence. There is a really nice hop bitterness here that I was not expecting. Carbonation is restrained, and mouthfeel is just a little bit thinner than I was hoping for. Overall, another decent selection from Hopewell.
