This beer pours a very pale gold, with a big foamy head with decent retention. Aroma is pleasant if a bit thin. There are mild hop and malt notes, and I am picking up slight yeasty notes in background. Taste is nice, with a tart dryness predominating. There is a definite vinous character here. Mouthfeel is really nice with champagne like carbonation and a persisting "dryness" as well. Hopewell describes this beer as a "celebration lager" that takes cues from champagne. That seems to be pretty on the mark. Another winner from Hopewell.

Picked up a single from the local beer store. It pours crystal clear and super light yellow-gold in color. The head is initially tall and bubbly, but settles soon into small swirls. The aroma is that of a lager....a bit of grain, light malt, some floral notes, distant sulfur compounds. The taste is dry, balanced, and the body is light. High effervescence. I liked this one.
