Hazy, golden color. Huge, even too big head. Fruits, flowers, malt, light funky notes in aroma. Taste is weaker. Dry , herbal bitterness almost from the start. Very drinkable.

Pours a murky dark straw/light gold with a huge topper of white lather that falls rather quickly. Not the most beautiful beer, not even taking account it's a saison.
Woaahhh a lot going on in the aroma. some yeast tart and even a bit of funk, also a bit of a doughy thing, overripe peach, earthy and herbal notes, unidentifiable notes that occasionally remind of leather. Interesting and not exactly alluring in the classic meaning of the word.
Woaahhh it is a full flavor and that overripe peach is now better identified as overripe/spoiled pineapple. In a good way. It adds a nice fruity sweet to the graininess. The funky notes of the bouquet are almost MIA in the taste, except for an earthy note. It has a peppery spice that was almost hidden in the aroma. Here it is a key player. Hops join the party with some righteous rooty herbal bitter that makes for an interesting end of sip as the strange yeastiness lingers with the pepper flavor and makes a unique taste.
Full bodied, med./high carb., which gives it a corbonic bite it doesn't need, highly viscous for style, the linger could be cleaner for sure, kind of an overbearing finish that detracts.
All in all a decent beer that benefits by being a really different take on a wide open style. Recommended especially for folks who, like me, get off on strong flavors

A: The beer is relatively clear golden yellow in color and has a high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a two finger high white head that has excellent retention properties and consistently left a finger high head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of Belgian yeast are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has some spiciness from the yeast, most notably in the finish. There are also some notes of pear flavors from the hops.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and rather dry on the palate with a moderate to high amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like a classic Belgian saison except that it just has an American twist in the form of the flavors from the El Dorado hops. It's just too bad that the hop flavors weren't a tad stronger.

The beer comes in a deep hazy gold.
The aroma hits of fresh pineapple, lightly sweet crackery malts, light earthy qualities.
The flavor follows with grains, medium minus sugary breadsweet sweetness, earthy dry finish, hints of grassy and spicy hops on the finish. The carbonation is lively and prickly throughout the palate.

Poured into Belgian glass with two fingers of fluffy white head that dissipates, but remains present throughout. Color is murky dark sunflower. Nose of carmelized pineapple, Belgian yeast, muted hops. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated and dry. Overall, would have liked to see more El Dorado hop presence, but this is overall a "proper" saison.
