Enjoyed from a growler in a snifter via the brewery.
This nice little BSDA pours a dark muddled mahogany with a
dissipating head of white foam that settles to a thin ring with
light lacing. Nose of brown sugars, dark fruit, and subtle herbal
and yeasty notes. Flavors follow but exceed the nose by presentation
with dark brown sugars awash in dark cherry and date notes with a touch
of phenol yeasty bread notes giving way to a light herbal note and slight
subtle herbal hop. Nice mouth feel; medium body, lightly slick, low carbonation,
and a sweet lightly warming finish.

Overall this is a solid ale from a newer brewer that is worth checking out.
