I'll preface by saying, I have never had a gluten free beer.
Aroma is thick with juicy hops, very fresh smelling and in your face. Excellent west coast aroma, one of the best i've smelled.
Taste is interesting. Very strong hop flavor, though nothing too distinct fruit wise. Bit of malt balance, but what's strange is it has a weird sour aftertaste that only lingers for a couple seconds. It's pleasant though. What makes the taste unique is the mouthfeel is VERY light for a 7% IPA, I assume due to the lack of gluten? It goes down more like carbonated water. Not cloying at all. I quite enjoy how light it goes down. Doesn't seem like a 7% beer at all until you've had a couple and you can feel it lol.
Overall, interesting beer. I normally drink IPAs, but again never a gluten free one, and the mouthfeel of this beer makes it insanely easy and pleasant to drink. 4.25/5

Slightly hazy amber color with respectable white head and a bit of lacing.
The aroma is citrus, pine and light caramel.
The taste is grapefruit, lime, pine resin and caramel malt with a touch of burnt toast. The finish dries out with lingering citrus zest, burnt toast and pine resin.
The body is medium, plenty of carbonation, fairly smooth and drinkable.
Altogether, this is a pretty decent IPA, hop forward but not overdone, the burnt toast taste is a little odd in an IPA but not offensive. considering the fact that it's gluten free, this is one of the best I've had, very nice.

My first GF beer so I didn't expect much, but it was very drinkable. A slight sweetness to taste.

Great flavor and hops, plus its gluten free. Nothing too stand out about it, though.

Probably the most enjoyable gluten-free beer I’ve had to date, though I have admittedly not sampled a long list. Pretty amber coloring with respectable head and a little lacing. Hop-forward aroma profile that really shines as the best component: bright citrus, zesty pine, an herbal element, and a pretty big malt (or malt-like) balance. Quite a good West Coast IPA profile, with really nice grapefruit and orange elements, with some melon and a slightly sour fruit note. Taste profile almost keeps up with a really pleasant bitterness balanced with just a touch of fruit and breast sweetness — the grains they’re using are doing a nice job. It’s quite dry and that sour note appears again late, and there really aren’t any distinct fruit notes at play so it comes off a bit watered down. Feel, too, is a bit thin but also slightly over-carbonated. Compared to “real” IPAs it’s lacking some punch. But as a GF beer, it’s a very, very good offering if you’re in the mood for a WC IPA.

I had to start avoiding gluten for health reasons, and have missed hops ever since. This is a great beer in comparison to every other truly gluten-free beer I have tried. It’s the most hop-forward gluten-free beer I have found and the flavor and consistency are such that I would never know it was gluten-free without the label. Thank you Holidaily for such an excellent drink.

this isnt anywhere near as good as the blonde they do. the lack of gluten seems a little more exposed here in a more full flavored style. there is a funny almost burnt aroma and flavor to this, which i find odd since the beer is so light and pale in color. its an off flavor to me at first, but then the beer takes on a sort of nutty property that i can see together with the burnt thing might be a product of some interesting grain or process i am less familiar with. i think the hops are more bitter than flavorful too, which i think is a flaw in a beer like this. some amber color to this, but not really objectively malty as such, i do taste the buckwheat which is earthy and agreeable. a gorgeous high white head on this too, really well carbonated. i was almost thinking it would be like a hop soda, all heavily dry hopped and juicy, i think that would not only cover up some of the weird flavor in here, but actually flatter it with the right varietals and intensity, but that is not the case here. i like the bitterness too, but the flavor really isnt there. still light and easy drinking though for what it is, which is a plus if you like the flavor. i think its neat the approach these guys are taking to gluten free beer, but where their blonde would pass as normal beer and in some cases may even taste preferable to it, this one would never pass for a normal ipa, and is in need of some tweaking to even get close. still cool the options exist for those who cannot have regular beer, its leaps and bounds ahead of most of its competition still...
