Excellent balance of beer and pumpkin flavors, subtle, not overly sweet. A little light keeps it from great, but very good.

one of the most flavorful and tasty gluten free beers i have had, these guys are doing a really nice job, we had fun out there today and i think its cool they are making craft beer accessible to folks who cannot normally enjoy them due to gluten allergy or intolerance, these are better than just alternatives, they are great beers. this one is rich copper colored with a short airy white head and with a nice fall spice aroma that included things like nutmeg and cinnamon, a little nuttiness to it and a rich almost brown sugar character to the malt. in the flavor, there is an odd almost burnt or scorched character, which at first seems like a flaw, like a poorly circulated boil or something, but after i sip on it a bit, i come to really like it, it adds some cool depth to this in the place of any darker grain, nice with the pumpkin and spice character, and definitely autumnal. a little sweet, a little rye type earthiness to it, not at all thin or missing anything to me on the malt side, and with a subtle honey and vanilla thing as it fades out. they did a nice job with this fall seasonal, it checks all the boxes i need in the style. these guys are making some of the best gluten free beers ive ever had! well worth a visit if you are doubting these can taste like real beers!
edit: it impressed me each time i have this how good it is for being gluten free, like its great just as a pumpkin ale, you would never know or miss it, and i love that. its also held up pretty well over time, which so few of these do. a great fall beer, one i am always happy to drink! dont let the gluten free thing keep you from trying this, its so good!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
