16 oz. Can
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, guava, mango), nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, guava, mango), nice diesel like, nice little sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here.

Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. snifter glass
Price: $2.99
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Jan. 10, 2020
Consumed: Jan. 10, 2020
Misc.: No canned on date
Picked this up with four other singles and a Modern Times 4-pack at Windmill Farms. Had seen this before, but this was the first time I thought about picking it up. It was a collab between Mason Ales, Burgeon and Pure Project. That’s a pretty nice 1-2-3 punch. Online description that I tracked down read, “Our third annual three way collaboration with Pure Project and Burgeon Beer! This Hazy IPA is full of intense hop notes from a blend of Citra, Azacca, Amarillo, and Warrior.” Should be able to pick out the first three, and probably Warrior as well (here’s to you Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA).
Poured a dark yellow-to-gold hazy color with three fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see some slowly moving bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class foamy uneven layered lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Azacca, Amarillo and Citra right away. Also pine, mango, tangerine, peach, mango, passion fruit and citrus zest. Big Amarillo and Citra from the can with the addition of earthy malt. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste followed the nose, but wasn’t as good overall. Not sure what was off. In order got Azacca, Amarillo, Citra, Warrior, pine, mango, peach, tangerine, passion fruit, citrus zest and stone fruit. Grew on me a bit as it went down. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 3.50)
Might have overrated this overall, but very good. (Overall - 3.75)
