The San Diego Pale Ale was dry hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Chinook and Idaho 7. Providing strong hop aromas of citrus, with slight grassy notes. Light breadyness from the malts but finishes very dry asking for another sip.

Got this and way too many beers on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Untappd description was “The San Diego Pale Ale was dry hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Chinook and Idaho 7. Providing strong hop aromas of citrus, with slight grassy notes. Light breadyness from the malts but finishes very dry asking for another sip.”
Poured a clear medium amber color with three fingers of rocky-to-frothy off-white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Amarillo and Chinook for mentioned hops, followed by Citra and light Idaho 7. Also orange rind, peach, stone fruit, red grapefruit, herbal, lemon, menthol, dank pine and wet grass. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Got Chinook, woody pine, bitter aspirin, orange rind, peach, stone fruit, red grapefruit, caramel, herbal, lemon, wet grass and lingering black pepper. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just a solid American Pale Ale from Mason Ale Works. Outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)
