Poured from 750ml crowler can. Fill date is marked '9/19 (2017)'.
Dark amber, cloudy body. One finger off white head settles into thicker, creamy cap. Rings of lacing after each sip.
Rich cracker aroma, with toffee and caramel.
Taste is medium roasted malts, toffee, caramel, nutty, and a touch of earthy woodiness.
Medium mouth feel, drinks smooth.
A solid malty English amber ale.

From a crowler into a nonic. Beautiful glowing dark copper, with a half finger thin off-white head, minimal retention and lacing. Nose is promising: sweet toffee, faint biscuit, a little sweet woody nuttiness, a little earthy tea, too. Better as it warms. Taste gives what the nose promises, though the Carmel-toffee is what comes out the most...at times, almost a little chewy. Very mellow...wish there was more of the nuttiness, and just a little hoppy edge. Feel is kind of watery and flat, without any hoppy edge...kind of disappointing. Still, all things considered, this is worth a shot...and it has some charms.

L: dense hazy amber to tea brown filled with streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 1/2" cream to light tan colored cap
S: has a rich nutty smell supported by earthy biscuit, low levels of fruit, traces of caramel, and hints of light floral and spice
T: flavors start malty and nutty suggesting bread crumb, biscuits, filberts and a light touch of caramel. It finishes with a touch of tart, faint grain husk, a trace of tea-like astringency and mild bitterness
F: very creamy medium to medium full bodied beer with very soft, medium carbonation
O: The flavor, balance and texture make this a very good pub or tap room beer

Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a 1 finger khaki head. Smell of toasted bread ,toffee ,caramel, and rich malts. Taste follows nose to a tee with the addition of some earthy hops. Mouth fell was under carbonated towards the end and turn bitter. Not an amber fan so not an advocate for this brew, its one and done for me, however worth a try for sure .

This beer pours a darker amber color. On the clear side. The head was fairly thick, 3 finger, and quite a frothy, redish white color.
The nose is malty, but not overpowering. Slight sweetness on the nose. Minimal hop.
The taste is very rich, and compex. I get many competing flavors, but they work well together. Matiness. Sweetness. Slight bitterness. All works very well together.
Feel - moderate, but for this beer, the feel is right.
This is the second beer from Disgruntled, and it is delicious. I don't know what they're doing in tha small town, but it's awesome!
