Brewers notes: "Bullet Proof is an American brown ale that is darker brown and danker than traditional brown ales. It is fermented with an English strain of yeast. Bullet Proof has flavors that hint of chocolate, dark roast, caramel, and bready flavors."
Poured from 750ml crowler can into glass. Marked ABV on can is '5'.
Very dark brown body, some light comes through, thick tan cap, and minimal lacing.
Aroma of dark roast and dark chocolate.
Taste is combination of chocolate, dark roast, and caramel.
Filling mouth feel, very good for a brown ale.
Tasty, and recommended. Not an "exciting" style but this beer is solid and well done.

L: deep dark brown liquid with bright brown highlights fills the glass producing a 3/4" light tan cap with moderate retention
S: nice range of malt aromas featuring coffee, chocolate and some base malts
T: Roasty chocolate and coffee start the flavors and the intensity of the malts move the beer very close to porter territory
F: medium full edging towards full and the carbonation is medium
O: This big brown ale has a lot of flavor and texture

Pours a cola color with a beige head. smell toffee toast and caramel. Taste follows nose slight charred malts with a creamy toffee nutty finish. mouth feel was smooth with a slight watered/thin sweet finish . A drinkable solid brown.
