Look: Dark Black with a thinner appearance. Little foam rim appears around the perimeter of the glass.
Smell: First impression is the sweet Vanilla with some Rye spice and Barrel.
Taste: Needs time to warm. Has a nice vanilla presence at the front. There's some Rye spice and roast flavors as it warms, but not a lot of wood barrel. It was boozy at the finish when cold, but that dissipated as it warmed.
Feel: Needs body. It's definitely light for the style. The carb is appropriate and it works well allowing the vanilla to shine.
Overall: I appreciate a MN brewery that's willing to pursue adjunct BA stouts. I've been impressed with B1 Lord Bert and Imperial Brunch.

Tan head. Black in color but not oil thick.
Rye spice, chocolate, and roast. Vanilla is light. Barrel is light.
Overall, it's a bit light on flavor. The nose has nice vanilla, but that's about it. Solid, but I like brunch stout better.
