This could also go in the fruit beer category but their site lists it as an American Wheat Beer so I'll go with that.

This is a wheat beer with pineapple...it worked out great. I've had some pineapple hefe's while in Florida and while ok I think the pineapple plays better with a basic wheat ale minus the yeasty esters of a hefe..

This has a bit of cream of wheat like maltiness and just a light almost pina colada like pineapple impression. That flavor combo works great and just lingers lightly for a little after you drink it.

It does have a light tartness from the pineapple but nothing near the tartness of those pineapple hefe weizens I recently tried.

I think this is a unique and well done beer that is sure to be a favorite around the lakes in the summer months.
