Brewer's Notes: "The newest member of the Numba series, Numba Five is single hopped with Vic's secret hop. Very smooth, 5.4% ABV."
On tap from France 44 Cheese Shop.
Hazy pale orange body color, thick white cap and some lacing.
Tropical fruit aroma and taste, pineapple and mango. Taste is evolving through the taste cycle, has tropical fruit, some resin, and a bit of herb/pine.
Mouth feel is coating and slurpy. Very comfortable to quaff.
My favorite so far of Disgruntled's 'Numba' series. Very much in that juicy NE Pale Ale universe. Tasty and and a joy to drink.

L-Murky, cloudy glowing orange juice color. Looks NE style for sure.
S-Big Tropical fruit aroma. Ripe pineapple, papaya, passion fruit.....also sweet peaches and nectarines...
T-Interesting taste. Single hopped with Vic's Secret Hop. Definitely has tropical fruit notes...but also a bit resiny (pine sap), also a slight catty flavor...
F-Creamy and medium to medium/light bodied
O-Interesting and well crafted single hop NE style pale ale.
