Crowler can. No fill date marked on can.
Clear, pale amber colored body. Two fingers of fluffy white head, settles back to bubbly cap. Leaves behind some strings of lacing.
Aroma of pine resin along with pineapple and grapefruit.
Taste of pineapple and grapefruit pith, and bitter pine resin. Slightly juicy but quite bitter.
Medium mouth feel, and smooth. Very good carbonation.
I haven't had an IPA for several weeks, and this one really hits my palate with hop bitterness, but the beer has a some malt sweetness. Although the label describes this as an "India Pale Ale - New England Style", the beer expresses none of the standard attributes of the style. To me this is more a Midwest take on the West Coast IPA style.

Pours a light reddish orange with a thick white cap that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is a mixed bag of fruit mostly citrus. Flavor follows the nose with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Feel is medium body with decent carbonation. Okay beer, wish the brewer hadn't left.

L-Deep reddish oak colored...nice frothy white head and lacing.

S-Nice fragrant aroma of fruits. Strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, grapefruit, oranges. A bit of a caramel malt scent as well.

T- Same juicy fruit notes. A lo of berries and tropical fruits. Caramel malt on the backing. The more you drink the more the caramel seems a bit out of place here.

F-Medium bodied. Smooth. Just very light finishing bitterness.

O-Was curious what the new brewer could do. He's got a big winner right here.
