Can to tulip. Back of the can reads "best by October 1, 2020."
The appearance was a nice looking burnt cranberry red color. A small finger's worth of white foamy head slid off at a good pace. Mild messy lace.
The aroma had some sweet to tart cranberries in front then a leaner quality of red raspberries strolling in to accompany a mild balance. Subtle grassy hop features and lemon. Small whiff of mineral water.
The flavor leaned towards the blend of sweet to tart cranberries and raspberries. Subtle sour with tart and acidity then a kind sweet tone. Mellow aftertaste of red raspberries and cranberries. Small touch yeast in the aftertaste as well.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but sat just a wee bit under. Modest sessionability. Good carbonation. Semi-sticky with some smoothness. Finishes crisp with some cranberry tart juicy sweetness.
Overall, I believe Kevin did what he set out to do and it's a really nice one to come back to during warmer weather.
