Appearance: Arrives with a cloudy goldenstraw presence; the modest head leaves some dots and dashes
Smell: Papaya and pineapple tones
Taste: Papaya forward with the pineapple emerging; pithy grapefruit flavors add bitterness to the mid-palate; the finish is dry with a hint of aspirin
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Refreshing and well-constructed; not far from IPA territory

Poured a cloudy yellow body with great head and lace patches down the glass. Dank, earthy, hoppy aroma with minimal malt base although a tad pungent. Smooth, filling body with a mild malty sweetness not picked up in aroma that balances with an earthy, floral, dirty hoppiness and crisp finish.

great ipa, cool to see some pure project on tap in colorado, although i suspect this isnt all that fresh anymore, a slight fade to the hop profile on the nose and a little more bitterness than i think it probably had when it was first made, like the hops have devolved into that a little bit, but i like this a lot even still, and was stoked to encounter it this afternoon. cloudy but without visible sediment like so many of them have, uniform frothy pale brew, thick a little bit, and with a huge and puffy white head, appealing for the style. aroma is piney and sturdy, more robustly bitter than many, i get that right away, also with a rather hearty grain base backing up all the hops, not at all sweet or anything, but providing some interesting earthiness, which is a great foundation for the hops. hops have a faint creep of staleness in the flavor, but is still get things like melon rind, juniper, wet grass, and green tea, dry and with a little bite at the end, but nicely balanced by the dry cereals in here, almost a granola sort of base, oats and wheat i would think. id love to try this one at the pea of freshness, but i still like it a lot right now. good body and dryness at the end, rich feeling without any residual sugars, and righteously bubbly. these guys are making some awesome beers!

One of the best Pale ales I’ve had! Absolutely delicious!
The color was amazingly hazy, the aroma was dank and juicy and it went down like water on a blistering hot day.
This was fucking good.
