Canned 01/15/19
Appearance - Pours with a fair amount of haze, golden in color with a white, near two-finger width head that holds steady before dying down to a thin, broken layer of surface suds, building up around the edge of the glass to form a nicely sized ring. Lacing is fair, with broken webbing, lines and small spots decorating the glass.
Smell - Moderate aroma hinting at notes of wood and lesser pine. Citrus behind this. Slightly toasted bread.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mild wood and pine upfront with a hint of orange and peach. Malts come through with a big punch of buttery caramel and lightly toasted biscuit.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - A good unfiltered WC IPA. Well balanced. A little more citrusy hop punch would have made it agree with my taste buds more.

Pours a clear amber with a off white foam head. Nose is of pine needles, sap, pale malt and crisp citrus. Taste of citrus peal, pine bark, sap and maltyness. Medium body with a somewhat oily mouthfeel that coats the roof of your mouth. Crisp pungent dry finish. A decent west coast IPA.

Substantial diacetyl, but still a good beer.
