Can dated 11/08/2017 into a tulip glass.
L: Pours hazy pale yellow bronze with 2 fingers of variable density pillowy white head that left ringed and spotted lacing.
S: Nose is heavy with melon, cantaloupe and honeydew, and also plenty of mango. Very enjoyable, almost slightly sweet.
T: Follows the nose well, but perhaps less dynamic. More competing citrus with the sweeter elements of the nose, some white grape aspects show once it warms. Finishes with moderate bitterness and astringency, astringency lingers.
F: Medium bodied, with medium-high carbonation, tongue tingles from carbonation and astringency. Drinkable, but seems like a rougher mouthfeel than most of the better NEDIPAs.
O: It's a solid beer, but I won't repeat as there's plenty of better mouthfeel NE-style DIPAs in CA. The melon aspects were nice.
