Collaboration with Horus Aged Ales, this guy’s really making his rounds!
Pours dark, motor oil fudge (is that a thing?) Nice inch head of tan foam. Settles slowly.
Fudgy nose, bitter roasty coffee. Slightly nutty. Pretty sweet but fairly subtle . Subtly metallic finish.. once I get that hint I couldn’t shake it. Still good, but hate that “distraction”.
The flavors are fudgy and roasty, mirroring the profile on the nose.. but again I’m getting more of those metallic notes in the flavor as well.
Medium body, slightly syrupy and sticky. Smooth. Medium carb. The best part of this beer without a doubt. Barely any boozy, and so crushable for a 13% beer.
