The head is more substantial and lasting. Most other aspects pretty much match up with my first impression.

----------------------------------------------

Pale gold body; mild effervescence; thin, patchy head. Doughy and biscuity aroma; trace of esters. Grain-like flavor; decent hop bitterness; faint grapefruit rind. Medium body; fairly dry overall.

An interesting take on the IPA style, certainly dry overall but not much different from other IPA offerings. Malty, dry, bitter...okay, then...

i am really digging these guys, and think its rad a whole round of cans just made it out to colorado, i was hoping they would, and this sort of marks the official start of heady uncommon beer coming in for gabf season, better save my pennies! this is a solid brut ipa, as dry as i have ever had in the style. still a little hazy from the can, soft pale yellow looking and with a white lathery head rising up. it smells like lemons and lemon cleaner, a little chemical to me, like an ester that shouldnt be these, but i dont really taste that, lots of juicy dry hops, but not overdone like some of the new england types, and still with that west coast oily thing going on. lemongrass and clementine and lime to me, very citrus forward, almost delicate for what it is, extremely fresh, effervescent, and crackling dry, shockingly so really, its over even before i swallow it, which i kind of dig, it makes this drink a lot lighter than its listed abv usually allows for. its not as well put together as i thought it might be, didnt impress me from a quality standpoint the way many of their other beers have, but this was refreshing, relatively clean, and sporting a well dialed in mix of hops in all of their glory. i look forward to trying the other cans that have come around as well! maybe a little below expectations here, but still really good.
